"One is on ones way to St James Palace," Kylie tweeted in the first anyone knew of the surprise concert by royal appointment. She also posted a picture of a guard outside the palace in London. The royal couple was hosting a formal dinner for 200 London-based Australians, New Zealanders and Papua New Guineans with the guest list including former actor Jason Donovan, entertainers Rolf Harris and Barry Humphries, author commentator Kathy Lette, soprano Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, former Hawthorn footballer Tony Woods, All Blacks Sean Fitzpatrick and Anton Oliver and chefs Peter Gordon and Anna Hansen. The heir to the British throne received a Sherrin football at the event as a gift from Woods who is now the AFLs international development officer, ahead of his trip Down Under with his wife Camilla. "The least we could do was present him with a footy," Woods said after passing the gift to a pleased-looking Prince.
